Important message for our patients regarding Face Masks:
In accordance with new government guidance we are now asking if possible, that all patients wear a face mask when attending the surgery for an appointment or for any other reason. This will help protect other patients and our staff from transmission of COVID-19.
All our staff will continue to wear PPE including medical-grade masks for all face-to-face appointments.
Face coverings do not need to be medical-grade masks but a scarf or a ‘home made’ mask are acceptable and could help prevent inadvertently passing on the virus to others if you have COVID-19 - whether or not you have symptoms.
Children under 2 are not required to wear face masks and children under 5 do not need to wear face coverings if they cannot use them without assistance.
Thank you for your continued co-operation.
You spend very little time with your clinicians and the rest of the time you are managing on your own.
